A person is dealing with fees after police say he got here at an officer with a knife after being kicked off a bus in a Northern Manitoba city Wednesday evening.
Wabowden RCMP had been referred to as round 11:20 p.m. after the suspect was faraway from a bus attributable to unruly conduct.
Police had been advised the person had walked into the neighborhood (which is greater than two hours north of Norway Home), the place he was present in what police say was an agitated state, strolling alongside Fleming Drive in the direction of Hwy 6.
RCMP stated as officers tried to method the suspect, he pulled a knife and began strolling in the direction of one of many officers “in a threatening method.”
Regardless of being requested to drop the knife and being advised he was underneath arrest, the person refused to conform, stated RCMP.
The suspect tried to stroll away, however officers pulled a performed power weapon and demanded he lie down, which he finally did, police say.
The suspect was taken into custody with out damage.
The investigation remains to be ongoing and the 30-year-old suspect stays in police custody dealing with a number of fees, together with assaulting a police officer with a weapon, uttering threats, and resisting arrest.
