Peterborough police search suspect following residential break-in

Peterborough police are asking for the general public’s help in reference to a break and enter Wednesday morning.

Between 8 a.m. and eight:40 a.m., Peterborough Police Service officers acquired calls about suspicious exercise on George Road North between Parkhill Street and Hilliard Road.

It was reported an unknown suspect was on the doorways and within the backyards of quite a few residences.

“One home was reported (as) damaged into, with the suspect taking off with a big amount of things,” police stated.

The suspect is described as having a slim construct, standing about 5 ft 10 inches. He had darkish hair.

“It’s doable the suspect used the bike path to depart the realm,” police stated.
